At So Beau Baby we offer both traditional Layby and the Laybuy service.
Layby – this is our in-house layby whereby you can make repayments at intervals of your choosing (up to 3 months) and your order is dispatched once full payment has been made. Layby is available to NZ and Australian customers. (see below in our FAQ’s for more details)
Laybuy – Laybuy lets you receive online purchase now and spread the total cost over 6 weekly automatic payments interest-free (see below in our FAQ’s for more details).
We are pleased to be able to offer Layby to both NZ and Australian customers on orders over $75 NZD.
A layby sale is one where you pay by instalments and the goods are held by us until you pay off the balance. With layby sales, you don’t own the goods until you’ve made the final payment.
If you wish to set-up layby, simply add the products you wish to purchase to your cart and select the ‘Layby’ payment option at checkout. We will then contact you (normally within 24 hours) to provide you with the payment details.
We offer very flexible Layby terms and just require a deposit of 20% or more to be paid within 3 business days of the Layby being set-up. You then have up to 3 months to make the remaining payments. You can choose how much and how often you wish to pay within this 3 month period.

We have partnered with popular payment provider Laybuy so that customers can pay for their order with interest free weekly installments – Available to NZ customers only
Q. How do I sign up?
A. Just continue to checkout and select Laybuy as your payment option or visit laybuy.com/consumer to create your account.
Q. Who can use Laybuy?
A. Any NZ resident over 18 with a current debit or credit card.
Q. How is my limit approved?
A. Your limit is assigned through our instant credit check upon sign up. If you don’t have a credit score, Laybuy will assign you with $120. No extra information about you is required!
Q. How do I return my order?
A. Simply return your items to the Retailer as normal. The Retailer will process the refund through the Laybuy platform and we will credit the funds to your nominated debit or credit card and adjust or cancel your payment schedule as necessary.
Q. Is there anything else I should know?
A late fee of $10 will be applied to your account 24 hours after a missed payment. You can also spend more than your assigned limit, the excess will be added to your first payment.
Q. What if the item I want to purchase is more expensive than my Laybuy credit limit?
A. You can shop and spend more than your limit if you have a sufficient balance on your debit or credit card to complete the purchase.
However, if you exceed your limit this will change the way in which you will be required to make payments to us as the excess must be paid at the time of your first installment.
For example, if you have a limit of $120 and want to purchase an item for $200, your designated debit or credit card will be charged $80 on the date of purchase. That is, the $80 “limit excess” and your payments for the next 5 weeks will be $24 per week.

For standard delivery – cut-off date: 9th December
For express delivery – cut off date: 14th December
For rest of world – cut off date: 4th December

Our website will automatically send out an e-mail confirmation to you when your order is placed and another once your order has been dispatched.
Occasionally these e-mails end up in junk folders, so if you haven’t recevied a confirmation please check there.
All items (excluding pre-orders) will be dispatched within 1 business day of your order.
New Zealand (non-rural) – Delivery normally takes 1-2 business days after dispatch, a tracking reference will be supplied to help you track your order
New Zealand (rural) – Delivery normally takes between 2-4 business days after dispatch, a tracking reference will be supplied to help you track your order
Australia (standard) – Delivery normally takes between 3-10 business days after dispatch – this is an untracked service, if you would like your order to be sent tracked please select our Australia Express option
Australia (express) – For an extra $13 NZD we will send your package express – 2-4 business days after dispatch, this is a tracked service and a tracking reference will be supplied to help you track your order
Rest of the World – Delivery normally takes between 5-15 business days after dispatch
Returns & Exchange Policy
We ensure our goods are of the highest quality and we are confident that all items purchased from us are in perfect order, in the rare occurrence that you receive a damaged or faulty item please contact us immediately via email firstname.lastname@example.org. We will provide a full refund, store credit or an exchange (if we have a replacement in stock) once we have received the returned item. Please note products must be returned to us within 21 days of the purchase and must be returned in the same condition as received with all labels etc. returned with the item.
We make every effort to make sure our product descriptions are as detailed as possible and that includes sizing and colour guides for our clothing type product. If you have a question about sizing then please feel free to contact us at email@example.com prior to making your purchase – we are happy to help.
If you change your mind or if you have ordered the wrong size we are happy to provide an exchange or store credit for the original purchase price of the item (not including shipping costs). Items must be returned to us within 21 days of the original purchase and must be in a resalable condition with packaging intact and all labels etc. returned with the item. The cost of shipping the returned item is the responsibility of the buyer. We are unable to offer refunds on items that are not damaged or faulty.
